We are a federation of microbloggers who care about social justice and solidarity and want to quit the centralised capitalist services.
gnusocial.cc is a server of the GNUSocial social network (as many others, see a list at gnusocial.network), which is a free, decentralized and federated network that is free software. This means that anyone could download the GNU Social source code and install its own server.
gnusocial.cc was launched on August 9, 2018 and since then it has been online. We don’t track you (your privacy is respected). In addition, as it hasn’t got any advertising, we get nothing but donations as incomes from that server, which are expended on hosting and domain name expenses.
Donating to gnusocial.cc is the right way to help it keep it up. You can donate regularly using LiberaPay and Patreon (Please keep in mind that this is a non-free platform that keeps about 10% of your donation). Also you can make a one-time donation through PayPal (also non-free that keeps more than 2% of your donation).
